Assistant Professor of Clinical Nursing
Dr. Nicole R. Dellise is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Nursing at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified Nurse Executive, and certified heart failure nurse. She began her career as a heart failure nurse in 2008 and received her Master’s in Nursing from Belmont University in 2012 followed by her Doctorate in Nursing in 2017. Dr. Dellise has a strong passion for improving cardiac care across the continuum. She has held clinical leadership roles and served as Program Director for large Structural Heart and Advanced Heart Failure Programs. Dr. Dellise is a published author, recently collaborating as the co-editor for the textbook: Managing Heart Failure in Primary Care: A Case Study Approach. Dr. Dellise has been invited to speak locally and nationally on various cardiology topics and program optimization strategies. Dr. Dellise joined Vanderbilt School of Nursing in 2018 and teaches in Advanced Health Assessment and various clinical courses.
